Events
Yes, at Backstage we sometimes like to enjoy a good, decent party. When we do, be assured its always genuine and fun!
But we also support other venues, so we like not only to announce our own little events, but also of other gay venues here in and around Patong for you to enjoy while here But they have to be gay (meaning for the whole of the LGBT community)!
We advice you to keep an eye out on our events calender!
Free Wifi
For all our customers we offer free use of our Wifi and we hope in the near future also to be able to have internet facilities available for those who do not have their own laptop, smartphone or iPad with them.;-)
After Beach Hours
Enjoy our drinks & cocktails during late afternoons. Come as you are, beachwear or otherwise and relax after your day in the sun or whatever else you have been up to.
Drinking
As any cafe/bar here in Patong, we have a decent range of drinks we can offer you while here at Backstage, by glass or by bottle... just ask for our menu or any of our guys who are most happy to serve you!
Healthy Thai Food
When hungry and at any given hour when we are open, you can sit down and eat delicious and healthy but 'simple' Thai food and for very decent, attractive prizes as well!
Coffee & tea
We pride ourselves that we make pretty good coffee and can brew you a most decent cup of tea. We have a separate coffee menu where you can choose from.
Karaoke
Thai people like to sing a song, for them its as normal to have karaoke in their bars as its for us to have not, if, like us, you're from a so called western country ;-)... but because we like to serf our Thai friends as much as our foreign guests (here mostly referred to as “farang”) we also have karaoke facilities which can be used but without disturbing those who don't enjoy this!
We discovered that also our more western orientated guests at time enjoy using our karaoke. Karaoke is available at any time when we are open and when using our karaoke our opening hours can become very flexible indeed!
Cabaret
Backstage enjoys theater, though we are just a small little bar, in our opinion that is. At times we enjoy putting up a spontaneous show. We are also happy to facilitate our customers to do so, while using our karaoke or just performing while doing lip-sing, or as we say 'playback'.
In the near future though we plan to have a show on once a week which you may be able to enjoy while having your drinks and/or dinner.
Private Party
On request we are happy to organise for you a private party. Just give us a call and drop by our venue and we are sure we can come up with a pleasing arangement for you.
We can accomodate up till 25/30 persons and are able, next to drinks and delicious Thai food, to provide cabaret, karaoke and whatever else you might like to brighten up your party with!
Private Gay Cruise
At times and/or on request we organize a great private full day luxury gay cruise for up to 12/14 people!

Backstage doesn't pretend to be perfect. We like to learn though, so if you have comments on our performance, good or bad, we hope, no we invite you to share them with us so we can learn from your experiences and hopefully trough these experiences we can improve our performance to YOU on your next visit and/or to our other guests! Same counts for when you get inspiring ideas!
